GETBAUS is not yet an incorporated company. This is a browsing preview. Do not upload photos, reports or personal data.
1. Project status and contact
GETBAUS is a beta service - use at your own risk. It is currently an experimental browsing preview. The proposed company, GETBAUS OÜ, has not been incorporated. References to GETBAUS identify the project, not an existing limited-liability company. These terms do not create a company or transfer the responsibilities of the people operating the project to a future company. Contact the project at info@getbaus.com. The site is under development. The current operator’s formal legal identification remains unresolved.
2. Preview only — do not upload data
This beta is for browsing the interface, research and general styling material. Do not upload or submit photographs, facial reports, identity documents, health information, private notes or other personal data. This includes data about other people, even with their permission. Photo uploads, camera capture, report imports and analysis submissions are closed in this public preview. Do not bypass those restrictions through developer tools, modified clients or direct API requests. Do not email photos or reports to us.
2a. Planned personal analysis (not yet open)
Personal photo analysis is currently disabled. If it opens, the following will apply and will be disclosed again at the point of submission: you must verify your email address before any processing; the photo you submit and your email address will be stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1) so the analysis can be processed and you can be notified; submissions enter an automatic queue processed as capacity opens, with site-wide limits of at most 5 verified users and up to 6 photos each per hour, plus per-connection anti-abuse limits; over-capacity submissions show a "try again later" style message and, where offered, an optional notification when there is room; when capacity is limited you may choose to queue, in which case we email you when your result is actually ready - we will not claim a result exists before processing completes; pending photos are deleted after processing, results are kept for a bounded period (planned: 30 days after the result notification) and abandoned submissions are purged (planned: 7 days); abuse-prevention records use hashed identifiers, not raw IP addresses or email addresses; you may request deletion of your photo, report, queue entry, email record and attestations at any time via info@getbaus.com. Analysis results may include AI-generated style previews, which will be labelled as AI-generated; they are illustrations, not photographs of you. These behaviors are described here as planned; they are not active today.
3. Who the preview is for
The preview is intended only for adults: you must be at least 18 years old and legally an adult under the rules that apply to you, including where you are a citizen or resident. It is not designed for children, clinical use or decisions about another person. Please leave the preview if you do not meet this age requirement. When personal photo analysis opens, submitting a photo requires you to affirm this age statement together with acceptance of these terms and the privacy notice; we record that affirmation (a self-declaration, not age verification) with the document versions you accepted. You may explore general material without providing a photograph or creating an account.
4. Scope of these terms
These terms describe the conditions for permitted use of the preview and the limits of the material made available. A link to these terms does not by itself establish that you accepted every contractual provision. Where an agreement or consent is legally required for a future feature, we will obtain it separately. Mandatory legal rights apply regardless of these terms.
5. Unfinished features and availability
The beta can contain errors, incomplete screens, experimental calculations and unavailable features. We may change, suspend or remove preview features to correct problems, protect security, comply with law or change development priorities. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a launch date, future functionality, compatibility with every device or preservation of preview settings. Material changes to any future contracted service remain subject to applicable law and its agreed terms.
6. No purchases during this beta
The public preview does not accept payments, subscriptions or orders. Prices, premium features and future offers shown in development material are not offers to enter a paid contract. No purchase is required to browse. Any future paid service will need separate pricing, payment, cancellation and consumer disclosures before purchase.
7. Measurements and scores
Technical articles describe methods under development, not a currently available personal analysis service. Image geometry depends on pose, expression, lighting, camera distance and model error. A count of observation fields is not a count of independently validated facial traits. BAUS Score describes editorial style-preference fit where presented; it is not an objective measure of attractiveness, personal worth or potential. Golden-ratio comparisons are descriptive mathematics, not a scientific ideal, diagnosis or a reason to change your body.
8. General information, not professional advice
Research summaries, routines and style ideas are general educational material. They are not medical, dermatological, psychological, financial, employment or other professional advice. Do not use them to diagnose or treat a condition, choose a procedure, stop prescribed care or replace advice from a qualified professional. A product or treatment mentioned in research may be unsuitable for you. Follow product instructions and seek qualified advice for symptoms, persistent skin concerns or treatment decisions.
9. No promised outcomes
We do not promise improvements in attractiveness, health, confidence, income, tips, hiring, promotion, dating or social outcomes. Cited studies concern specific populations, settings and methods; associations do not establish that changing your appearance will produce the same result. Examples and styling illustrations are illustrative, including synthetic imagery where used, and are not customer testimonials or guaranteed before-and-after results.
10. Permitted use and intellectual property
You may browse the preview and use its general material for your personal, lawful evaluation. Unless a separate licence states otherwise, this permission does not grant ownership of our original design, code, text or branding, or permission to republish the site as your own. Third-party works and open-source components remain subject to their respective licences. Statutory exceptions and rights under applicable law are unaffected. The GETBAUS name does not imply registered trademark status.
11. Prohibited conduct
Do not interfere with security, overload the service, evade access restrictions, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person or use the preview unlawfully. Do not collect facial data about others, attempt identity recognition, build discriminatory rankings, or use outputs for hiring, insurance, credit or other consequential decisions. Do not scrape protected material or personal information in breach of applicable law or third-party rights. Ordinary lawful linking, accessibility tools and authorised testing are not prohibited by this section.
12. Feedback and security reports
You may send non-sensitive feedback to info@getbaus.com. Include only what is needed to explain the issue; redact identifiers and do not attach photos, reports, passwords, tokens or private records. You retain rights in your original feedback. You permit us to review it and use its suggestions to improve the project without an obligation to implement them or pay compensation, subject to confidentiality duties and applicable law. Report suspected security issues privately and do not access, alter or expose other people’s data.
13. Privacy and accidental submissions
The Privacy notice explains ordinary hosting data, browser storage and contact requests. The no-upload rule is not a claim that visiting a website generates no technical data. If you believe personal data reached the project by mistake, contact info@getbaus.com with a minimal description. Do not resend the data. We will assess the request and applicable duties; immediate removal from every log, backup, recipient or downloaded copy cannot be guaranteed. These terms do not authorise us to train models on prohibited submissions or waive your data-protection rights.
14. External resources
Links and references may lead to independent websites, research publishers or products. Their availability, content and policies are outside our control. A reference is not an endorsement of every claim made by its publisher. Check the original source and applicable conditions before relying on it. Any future commercial relationship that requires disclosure must be identified where relevant.
15. Responsibility and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free experimental preview is provided as available, without a contractual promise that its content is complete, accurate or fit for a particular purpose. You should verify information before acting on it. We do not assume responsibility for independent third-party services or outcomes beyond our reasonable control. Any exclusion or restriction applies only where lawful and fair in the circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, death or personal injury where protected by law, or mandatory consumer and data-protection rights. There is no blanket waiver of claims, automatic indemnity or requirement to surrender legal remedies.
16. Restricting access and stopping use
You can stop using the preview at any time and remove browser data through the application controls or your browser settings. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security threats or legal requirements. Such action does not remove accrued rights or prevent lawful privacy requests. We are not obliged to maintain abandoned experimental features, subject to obligations that applicable law imposes.
17. Changes and future launch
The date at the top identifies this version. We may revise these preview terms as the project changes; material changes will be made visible on the site. Changes do not retroactively remove existing rights or resolve past disputes in our favour. Incorporation of a future company does not automatically transfer an existing agreement or responsibility where law requires notice or consent. Personal analysis and paid services require a separate readiness decision and updated disclosures.
18. Applicable law and disputes
Where a valid contractual choice of law applies, these terms use Estonian law. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or courts available under the law of their habitual residence, nor override applicable data-protection law. There is no compulsory private arbitration or class-action waiver. Contact info@getbaus.com to raise a concern; doing so does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or bringing a lawful claim.
19. Interpretation
If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, applicable law determines its consequences; other provisions continue only to the extent lawful. Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a general waiver. These terms do not create an employment, agency or partnership relationship. No person is authorised by these terms to make a binding promise on behalf of a company that does not yet exist.
Local development testing
A developer may explicitly enable uploads on a loopback test server. This is separate from the public preview. Use only authorised test images and follow the testing documentation. Photos are sent to that local Python backend for processing; face measurements do not run in the browser. This does not enable uploads on the live website.
